My favorite areas to explore with people are self love, boundary setting, self empowerment, emotional awareness, mindfulness practices, inner child healing, shadow work, meditation, breath work, and trauma work from a trauma informed perspective. SELF-LOVE
The single most important relationship you can have is the one with yourself. How you see yourself, the thoughts you have about yourself, how you view your worth, how you show up and care for yourself - these are all important aspects of self-love. Many of us really struggle with this concept because of experiences from our childhood and adolescent years. It took me decades to understand what self-love really meant and ways I could develop that. One of the most important things I came to understand, which is true for all of us, is that we don't have to do anything to be worthy of love. NOTHING. We don't have to prove ourselves to anyone, ever. We are all worthy of love right here, right now. You deserve to experience this, and I can help guide you to that place.
SELF-EMPOWERMENT
Self-empowerment is about YOU taking control of your destiny instead of waiting on someone else to do it for you. It's about believing in and trusting yourself enough to take steps that carry you towards your goals. Self-empowerment builds self confidence and allows you to see how much is possible. Of course not all of your choices will work out the way you expected, but I promise that you'll experience massive change regardless!
SELF ACCEPTANCE
We are here to experience life in our most whole, powerful versions of ourselves, but we keep many aspects of ourselves hidden in the shadows to feel accepted. This is often the result of a feeling of shame we place upon ourselves and by others around us. The longer we keep parts of ourselves hidden, the more we tend to self-sabotage. My Approach to Daily Life
My values are empathy, compassion, forgiveness, love, joy, and authenticity.
- We are all here for a purpose, one that has the power to impact those around us in a positive way.
- Happiness is an inside job and the work to get there involves us being who we truly are.
- It’s important to acknowledge all of our feelings and to do so without labeling them as good or bad.
- We carry ancestral beliefs and wounds that shape who we are. Part of our healing path is to honor all of those, while releasing the ones that no longer serve our highest good.
- Meditation is one of the most powerful tools we have access to that can change every aspect of our lives.
- Our thoughts affect our energy. What we put out into the world is what we get back.
- It’s vital to love and nurture our inner child every day. Who we were before our lives were consumed and so affected by outside sources is yearning to be acknowledged, loved, and unleashed into the world.
- Our greatest joy comes from speaking our truth and living in alignment with our soul, with the essence of who we are.
- Forgiveness and love for ourselves and others is a powerful way to change the world around us.
